At the event, European partners of “Wincor Nixdorf” shared their experience, viewed innovations, established new contacts, and discussed the possibility of strengthening and expanding the partner network. The summit brought together over 120 participants who represented as many as 60 companies.

Among the companies from various parts of Europe participating in the summit, there was a team from the Lithuanian company “Penkių kontinentų bankinės technologijos” (BS/2). BS/2, which belongs to “Penki kontinentai” group, is a long-term partner of “Wincor Nixdorf” and supplies the financial and retail sectors for the Baltic region, East and Central Asia and other countries with the software of this German company as well as develops matching software solutions to help automate, optimize and expand businesses.

“Meeting specialists from other countries is a great opportunity to share experiences, learn about each other's accomplishments and innovations, gain inspiration, and discuss possible co-operation aspects. Since the summit was organized after the “Wincor Nixdorf” financial year had ended, considerable attention was paid to the analysis of accomplishments, significant achievements and future strategy”, said Tomas Augucevičius, BS/2 Deputy Director.

The summit participants were split into smaller thematic groups and discussed a number of topical questions, such as retail automation, cash flow recirculation projects, and banking market trends. They also had access to the “Wincor Nixdorf” latest products and solutions.

In addition, there were plenty of pleasant moments. Wincor Nixdorf rewarded its retail and banking sector partners for the best services, solutions, sales achievements, progress, etc. BS/2 company has received two significant awards.

The introduction of „Payments.iQ, a product of BS/2, at the Kazakh bank VTB was named Best Banking Solution 2012/2013, and the successful activity of BS/2 Latvia, a secondary company of BS/2, was named Best Banking Service 2012/2013.

“It is not the first time we receive an award for the services rendered. But it's just a further proof that ISO 20000 and ISO 27001 standards and procedures implemented at our company are efficient and bring solid benefits. Our Service Desk.iQ software and a separate unit of Service Desk help guarantee fast response time and high level of equipment availability”, says Tomas Bublys, BS/2 Service Support General Manager.

After the official part, the participants visited one of Formula 1 circuits in Germany, which symbolizes the rapid innovation development and desire to always lead. Partner summits are a great opportunity to share experiences and learn something new as well as to put forward new ideas on the improvement of existing products and the development of new ones.
