Lithuanians are very eager to learn Europeans

Lithuania takes the 1st position in the EU by the number of students in the country. Compared to the EU’s average of 15 %, only 7 % of 18-24 year-old people in Lithuania are not occupied with studies, the least in the EU, announces the European Commission.

European Commission’s latest report on education in the EU shows that Lithuania is also leading in the EU by the number of 20-29 year-old people within higher education graduation.

Moreover, Lithuania has made significant progress (3rd place in the EU) increasing the number of young people within the secondary education. 89 % of 20-24 year-old Lithuanians are engaged in secondary education, while an average of the EU is 78, 5 %.

There are 76, 6 % of pre-school age children in Lithuania attending primary education institutions.
