France, Greece, Lithuania, Spain reach quarter-finals European Championships

San Antiono Spurs guard Tony Parker scored a game-high 21 points as France beat Slovenia 88-82 Sunday, joining Greece, Lithuania and Spain in the quarter-finals of the European Basketball Championships.
France finished atop the Group A standings after its third straight win and will meet an undetermined opponent in the last eight at Stockholm's Globe Arena on Wednesday.
Parker, who became France's first NBA champion last season with the Spurs, led his team in scoring for the first time after a 10-point effort against Italy the day before. He also had three assists.
At Norrkoping, Lithuania beat Germany 93-71 to win Group B with a 3-0 record. Saulius Stombergas scored 28 points, including five three-pointers, and Ramunas Siskauskas 19 for Lithuania.
Dirk Nowitzki of the Dallas Mavericks led Germany with 19 points.
In the other Group B game, Israel defeated Latvia 91-75.
