Norway will play a friendly soccer match against Lithuania on Wednesday after Turkey pulled out of the game because of the earthquake. The Turkish team decided to travel home from Oslo on Tuesday after the earthquake devastated the northwest of the country. Lithuania agreed to play at short notice but Jon Jamessen, spokesman of the Norwegian Football Association, said that it was unclear whether the Baltic state would be able to field a full-strength side. Norway lead European championship group two and play Greece on September 4. Lithuania are third in group nine.
