Volksbank Riesa eG redesigns headquarters with innovation with Wincor Nixdorf

Published: 2 June 2015 y., Tuesday

Wincor Nixdorf has received the order for a comprehensive branch transformation project from Volksbank Riesa eG. The object of the contract is the redesign, modernization and optimization of the branch design of the headquarters.

The essential changes that should be implemented with the project include the reduce of the overall area of the headquarters, the reduction of the service points from four to two, the closing of counter and, in conjunction with this, the conversion of the counter services to self–service. In addition, new meeting rooms for private and business account managers as well as a flexible event area, the so–called “room of diversity” for up to 150 people and space for workshops, training sessions as well as large events will be created. On the first floor, the former business customer rooms will be newly conceived for the loan department.

In addition, Wincor has been asked to further develop the logo of Volksbank Riesa and make it more dynamic within the framework of the motto “In the region. For the region”.

The decisive contribution to this success was that Volksbank Riesa eG found in Wincor Nixdorf a partner that could offer all services under one roof and was also able to integrate the workers and customers in the region.

The practical implementation has been achieved in part by moving the self–service devices from teir previous location at the entrance to a new one in sight of the service points. The technology necessary for the new event room must be integrated invisibly and separately controllable. Alongside this, Wincor Nixdorf is also meeting special requirements, such as the special loan room and the special noise protection in the consulting rooms in order to meet the high needs for discretion of the customers. Furthermore, Wincor Nixdorf is also coordinating the technical new sorting and distribution as well as the modernization of the technology of the individual areas. Thanks to the innovative branch design and the modern look, the Volksbank promises a clear advantage over its competitors. The completion of the first construction section is planned for mid–September and the overall project should be completed in December 2015.
