ASHBURN Company Enters the Turkmenistan Market

Published: 17 July 2015 y., Friday

ASHBURN International (ASHBURN), a member of Penki Kontinentai Group and a company successfully operating in the Lithuanian and foreign markets in the field of payment cards, loyalty solutions and e-commerce, has started cooperation with Dayhan Bank, the State Commercial Bank of Turkmenistan.

The Bank has purchased TransLink.iQ, a software solution developed by ASHBURN, intended for centralized remote management of the network of card readers and for accepting and processing their financial transactions. Dayhan Bank also purchased 700 electronic card readers Ingenico iCT220 GPRS from the Lithuanian company.

According to Mr. Dominykas Mertinas, Director of ASHBURN Business Development Department, TransLink.iQ will help the Bank to ensure prompt and safe processing of card transactions. “The banks and commercial companies in Turkmenistan are dealing with card payments more and more and therefore, they must ensure prompt customer service and safety of customer data. TransLink.iQ is a modern instrument for managing the network of payment terminals, which allows remotely monitoring the equipment operation as well as updating the parameters and software. The solution meets the highest safety standards and therefore, helps to ensure the safety of card owners’ data,” said Mr. Mertinas.

The data of financial transactions carried out by Dayhan Bank card readers will be processed in the Hall Bank data processing centre, which is using the Smart Vista solution by BPC Banking Technologies. Therefore, TransLink.iQ was certified according to its requirements. In addition, the software meets the EMV and PA-DSS standards and was developed according to the standards of international payment systems VISA International and MasterCard International.

ASHBURN specialists expect that as a result of growth of Turkmenistan payment cards market, the demand for dedicated modern equipment and specialized software solutions will increase and are already negotiating the implementation of new projects with the partners.
