Ashburn International Readies to Launch Two New Products on The Polish Payments Market

Published: 16 June 2023 y., Friday

As a result of attending the XI Cashless Congress in Warsaw, several agreements were reached with Polish cashless payment operators concerning ASHBURN International's (belongs to the Penki Kontinentai Group) products. This year, the company participated in the event as a Gold Partner, presenting its solutions in payment technology and POS terminal network management. One of the presented products was a multifunctional EFTPOS device running Android OS, as well as a tip payment function called My Tips.

The XI Cashless Congress is a long-awaited event for the Polish payment industry. Organized by the Foundation for the Development of Cashless Payments (FROB) with the participation of FROB Chairman Robert Łaniewski, the Congress brought together financial institutions, manufacturers of cashless software, acquiring companies, and government organizations to exchange knowledge and experiences. Over 100 people attended the event, including ASHBURN International’s longtime partners SUNMI and Ingenico.

“We aim to enter the Polish payments market this year,” says Executive Director of ASHBURN International Žoržas Šarafanovičius.“Attending the Congress is an excellent opportunity to meet with Polish payment industry participants, including cash register software producers, distributors, and prospective customers. We have held more than 15 business meetings in two days, and we have already started joint projects. Together with local acquiring companies, we are testing and certifying hardware and integrating software, such as the BLIK payment system and other international payment systems. Despite high market saturation, the country welcomes new businesses if their products are high-quality and modern.”
