Penki Kontinentai Companies Received Silver EcoVadis Status

Published: 6 February 2019 y., Wednesday

The companies Penkių kontinentų bankinės technologijos (BS/2) and ASHBURN International, belonging to the Penki kontinentai group, received the silver EcoVadis rating for the second year in a row. This high assessment indicates a responsible attitude of companies towards the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and the implementation of the commitments.

EcoVadis group of international experts conducted a comprehensive analysis and inspection covering 21 criteria across four themes of environment, fair labor & human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. During the audit, the specialists studied the strategy of the CSR program, the measures taken and the results of their implementation.

The EcoVadis research forms a reliable rating based on the business, location and size of each company. More than 45,000 businesses around the world use EcoVadis valuation to reduce risk, increase transparency and trust between business partners. The experts assign enterprises the Basic, Bronze, Silver or Gold level. The companies of the Penki Kontinentai group can be proud of receiving silver status, because only 30 percent of all enterprises achieve such a high rate. Based on the comprehensive analysis, areas for increasing the effectiveness of the CSR were identified to achieve higher rates in the future.

In 2018, the Penki kontinentai group paid special attention to improving the internal climate of companies and promoting healthy lifestyles for employees. The Vilnius office was equipped with a room for computer games and a gym, where employees can escape from intense mental work, train on simulators or take part in cross-fitness or callanetics training. Communication in the informal atmosphere strengthens the relationship between colleagues and allows them to get to know each other better.

The company organizes corporate events and contests to improve communication. An internal information channel was created last year. Thanks to it, all colleagues are aware of all the companies' activities.

The Penki Kontinentai group motivates employees to professional growth and personal development. The library has been working within the walls of Penki kontinentai for more than 25 years. Professional courses, seminars on healthy lifestyle, time management and other topics are organized for employees.

The representatives of BS/2 and ASHBURN International took part in many international conferences and exhibitions, which became an excellent platform for exchange of experience and knowledge. The qualifications of employees and their wealth of experience in the field of innovative technologies are also appreciated by the younger generation. Excursions for students give them the opportunity to be acquainted with the work specifics of the Penki Kontinentai.

The main priorities of Penki Kontinentai are responsible business in a competitive environment and transparent cooperation with partners and customers.
