Published: 6 February 2019 y., Wednesday

The companies Penkių kontinentų bankinės technologijos (BS/2) and ASHBURN International, belonging to the Penki kontinentai group, received the silver EcoVadis rating for the second year in a row. This high assessment indicates a responsible attitude of companies towards the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and the implementation of the commitments.

EcoVadis group of international experts conducted a comprehensive analysis and inspection covering 21 criteria across four themes of environment, fair labor & human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. During the audit, the specialists studied the strategy of the CSR program, the measures taken and the results of their implementation.

The EcoVadis research forms a reliable rating based on the business, location and size of each company. More than 45,000 businesses around the world use EcoVadis valuation to reduce risk, increase transparency and trust between business partners. The experts assign enterprises the Basic, Bronze, Silver or Gold level. The companies of the Penki Kontinentai group can be proud of receiving silver status, because only 30 percent of all enterprises achieve such a high rate. Based on the comprehensive analysis, areas for increasing the effectiveness of the CSR were identified to achieve higher rates in the future.
