To encourage traveler loyalty – a loyalty system created by “Ashburn International”

Published: 6 January 2012 y., Friday

With appearing messages about recovery of the travel market and even visible signs of its growth, needs of travelers are also increasing. Therefore, companies operating in this sector constantly look for different ways to increase sales, attract new and retain existing customers, increase brand awareness. One of the measures to achieve these goals is a loyalty system.

Loyalty program called “Būk arčiau (Be closer)” was developed by “Ashburn International” (ASHBURN) owned by the group of companies “Penki kontinentai” as per order of “Long Distance Passenger Transport Company” (TOKS). The program has been brought into effect using a well-known ASHBURN payment and loyalty system “PayLo”.

According to Arūnas Indrašius, the General Director of TOKS, the new passenger loyalty program is an opportunity to increase the competitiveness of the company, provide frequently traveling clients with higher discounts, to take into account the individual needs of each traveler.

“Loyalty program “Būk arčiau (Be closer)” has already brought first tangible results. Now we know exactly who our customers are and what services of ours they use. Currently, owners of loyalty cards are offered differentiated discounts. However, in the long term, having considered thorough analytical data provided by the “PayLo” system, we shall think about ways to make the loyalty program even more attractive”, - stated A. Indrašius.

According to “PayLo” product manager Laimonas Lileika, TOKS loyalty program is designed and tailored to both private and corporate clients of the passenger transport company. The only difference is that legal persons are allowed to buy tickets on loan which is very convenient for companies purchasing TOKS services.

According to experts, loyalty systems can ensure business success – by properly and creatively utilizing the advantages of the system, it is possible to attract new and retain existing clients and, thus, establish oneself in the market. Moreover, clients are easily provided with adequate added value.
