BS/2 Cash Management Solutions Arouse Interest at the International Banking Forum

Published: 15 October 2014 y., Wednesday

Representatives of Penkių Kontinentų Bankinės Technologijos (BS/2), a company of Penki Kontinentai Group, took part in the 6th International PLUS-Forum Cash Circulation + Self-service. Banking and Retail 2014 in Moscow. BS/2 specialists made a presentation on .iQ product line designed for the management and optimisation of business processes, met with partners and clients, and took interest in new market developments.

The forum focussed on the cash management, automation and optimisation issues that are particularly relevant to the vast and rapidly growing Russian and CIS markets. According to Denisas Korobkovas, Head of Software Sales Division, the main reason why cash management solutions are attractive is that they enable companies to cut costs. ‘We presented to the forum guests a number of products that help automate and optimise cash flows. Specialists visiting our stand were mainly interested in Cash Logistics.iQ. This solution enables both banks and retailers to optimise cash amounts kept at money acceptance and issue points, improve customer service, protect the money against thefts and, most importantly, reduce the cash collection costs‘, says Denisas Korobkovas.

Visitors to the forum were also interested in BS/2’s SmartSafe.iQ solution intended for the automation and management of cashier workplaces. According to Denis Korobkov, the solution opens even wider opportunities when used jointly with its mobile version, Mobile SmartSafe.iQ. ‘SmartSafe.iQ was developed by us together with Mobile SmartSafe.iQ. This allows the solution users to offer their clients a convenient and safe use of banking services in mobile devices. Mobile SmartSafe.iQ joins the cash machine, self-service payment terminal and currency exchange machine functions together in a convenient user interface in a smart phone. In addition, both service provision costs and customer service staff workloads are reduced at branches‘, says BS/2‘s representative.

This year the PLUS Forum attracted over 1,300 participants from 35 countries of the world, including representatives of manufacturers of hardware for banking and retail trade sectors, banks, payment systems’ developers, and government institutions. The forum included a specialised conference at which experts delivered reports on relevant topics and round table discussions took place.
