BS/2 (Penkių Kontinentų Bankinės Technologijos) in cooperation with Worldline will upgrade the Luminor Bank ATM network in the Baltic region.

On August 16, a new stage of modernization of self-service devices in the Baltic region started. Diebold Nixdorf's new DN Series 250 ATM was installed in one of the residential areas of Riga (Zolitudes iela 34).

Several hundred self-service devices are to be upgraded in the Baltic region in the near future. They will be replaced by the latest series of ATMs (DN Series) from the global banking equipment manufacturer Diebold Nixdorf.

"The new self-service devices will provide customers with an improved customer experience. Thanks to modern technology, it will be possible to offer many bank services directly at the self-service device." - Kornelijus Šišla, head of strategic partners at BS/2.

Modern appearance, enhanced ergonomics and compactness characterize the new generation of ATMs. DN Series is adapted to NFC technology and complies with modern international standards of payment card security - both in terms of confidentiality and data protection. ATMs have a larger capacity of cash cassettes and guarantee higher speed of banknote processing.

Some of the new ATMs will be equipped with a new cash recirculation system, which will allow customers to withdraw as well as deposit cash into the ATM at high speed. This feature will help reduce the number of collection service visits and increase the accessibility of the self-service device.

BS/2 is an exclusive distributor of Diebold Nixdorf banking equipment in 13 countries, in 7 of which it has representative offices. BS/2 supplies self-service devices, provides service, develops and installs specialized software for them.
